A leading provider of long-term, low-cost American-produced liquefied natural gas is seeking a Control Room Optimizing Advisor to join its Integrated Production Excellence (IPE) team at a Louisiana-based LNG export facility. This company uses reliable, proven technology and an innovative, modular, mid-scale plant design to replace traditional configurations, allowing for high efficiency and operational reliability at significantly reduced capital costs. Role Summary Based at the Plaquemines Parish LNG facility, the Control Room Optimizing Advisor will serve as the main IPE contact, collaborating closely with Shift Supervisors and Control Room Operators to optimize the facility's availability and performance. This role focuses on enhancing the production system's optimization efforts to support the facility's overall operational efficiency. Responsibilities
Partner with IPE team members to develop and implement a daily Production Plan that ensures maximum LNG output while adhering to safety and reliability standards, considering factors like gas supply, facility maintenance, and LNG cargo schedules.
Collaborate with Shift Supervisors and Control Room Operators to implement the CP1 Production Plan.
Analyze deviations from operating limits and work with IPE team members to address and improve LNG rundown efficiency.
Identify and lead initiatives to improve short-, medium-, and long-term facility availability and reliability.
Identify production risks that could impact availability and reliability, and collaborate with IPE team members to develop mitigation plans.
Contribute to weekly and monthly production reviews, identifying and implementing actions to enhance production performance.
Support the development of Integrated Production Excellence standards.
Capture and share lessons learned from facility operations to benefit other projects and sites.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of oil and gas operations experience, with at least 3 years in LNG preferred.
At least 3 years of Control Room experience.
Proven track record with production technology systems (PTS) and/or liquefaction technology systems (LTS) is essential.
