Job Description: Conference Room Support Specialist
Contract length: 6-Month Contract
Location: Lakeville (ideally 5 days onsite but some flexibility on Monday's and Fridays)
We are an Microsoft driven organization moving towards fully equipped Teams rooms, with 37 conference rooms across two buildings on our Lakeville campus. As we work closely with our AV team to finalize room setups, we seek a dedicated contractor to help bridge the gap in our IT team.
Role Overview:
This role involves providing white-glove support for conference rooms, ensuring that all technical issues, particularly those related to Microsoft Teams, are resolved promptly and professionally. The ideal candidate will have experience in conference room setup and troubleshooting, be comfortable in high-visibility settings, and have a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide concierge-level support for conference rooms.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to Teams, including audio, video, and equipment rebooting.
- Act as an on-site contact, available to address and resolve urgent issues as they arise.
- Perform basic tasks like reimaging PCs if needed, although this is not the primary focus.
- Ensure rooms are functional and proactively address issues before meetings.
- Work with a third-party vendor for automated monitoring connections.
Requirements:
- Experience with conference room setups and a strong technical troubleshooting background with Microsoft Teams.
- Comfortable working in high-visibility situations, where quick problem resolution is essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse groups.
