A relocation bonus and moving expenses reimbursement are available for this role.

Job Description:

As a Project Manager in our Engineering department, you will play a critical role in planning, executing, and overseeing internal projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with the VP of Engineering, engineers, and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop project plans, objectives, and deliverables, and manage project timelines and resources.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams and product management to define project requirements, set expectations, and ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and proactively address challenges to keep projects on track.
  • Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for project status updates, facilitating communication between product teams and engineering teams, and providing transparent reporting.
  • Process Improvement: Implement and improve project management processes, tools, and best practices to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA teams to ensure projects meet quality standards and technical specifications.
  • Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively, balancing competing priorities and optimizing team performance.

Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the tech industry, with a background in Project Management, Product Management, QA, or Software Development. Managerial experience is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with software development processes, agile methodologies, and project management tools (e.g., Jira, GitHub, etc.).
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset, with a knack for anticipating challenges and finding creative solutions.
  • Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Education: At least bachelor's degree in STEM is preferred but not mandatory. Relevant certifications (PMP, Scrum Master, etc.) are a plus.
