Position Overview:
The Director of Operations will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations between our U.S. and Mexico offices. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented leader with experience in high-volume service industries, ideally within the legal sector, although this is not a strict requirement. The Director will work closely with the firm's owner and executive team to implement effective operational strategies, optimize processes, and ensure seamless collaboration across borders. Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight: Manage and oversee daily operations across U.S. and Mexico offices, ensuring all teams work efficiently and effectively to support firm-wide goals.
Collaboration with Leadership: Work closely with the firm's owner and executive leadership team to align operational strategies with the company's growth objectives.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance productivity, bringing fresh ideas to improve the firm's operational infrastructure.
Resource Allocation and Management: Coordinate resources across offices, ensuring teams are well-supported and equipped to meet high demands.
Performance Tracking: Develop and monitor operational metrics to assess and optimize performance across departments.
Travel and International Relations: Facilitate cross-border collaboration, with the flexibility to travel internationally as needed to oversee operations and ensure alignment between the USA and Mexico teams.
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure operational practices are compliant with legal regulations in both locations, managing risk and quality control to uphold firm standards.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a high-volume service industry, with a preference for candidates from the legal or professional services sector.
Strong operational leadership skills with a track record of implementing successful process improvements.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Bilingual in English and Spanish, with experience working in an international context.
Ability to travel internationally when needed to oversee operations and build team cohesion.
Compensation:
Competitive base salary of $250,000 USD per year, with potential for performance-based bonuses.
