Job Description:
Duties of the Position:
- Manage technical operations independently, applying specialized knowledge to support a key department function.
- Research, compile, and analyze data for administrative projects; produce statistical and narrative reports.
- Review documents for completeness and compliance, assessing information accuracy as needed.
- Explain policies and respond to customer inquiries, interpreting regulations to clarify issues and resolve questions.
- Support and coordinate complex team tasks, providing technical assistance and ensuring project deadlines are met.
- Collaborate with team members to share information, identify issues, and propose solutions.
- Research complex information requests, act as a resource for the public and other agencies on department programs and policies.
- Oversee the work of other staff, assist in hiring, training, and evaluating team members.
- Improve computer database files and design user-friendly reports for easier access to information.
Knowledge of:
- Administrative and organizational analysis methods
- Public administration principles
- Business computer applications, especially for data and statistical analysis
- Financial, statistical, and comparative analysis techniques
- Basic budgeting principles
Skills in:
- Analyzing and solving administrative and operational issues
- Collecting, evaluating, and interpreting data (statistical and narrative)
- Understanding and applying laws, regulations, and policies
- Writing clear and concise reports
- Keeping accurate records and files
- Managing and supervising daily work of others

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, or a related field
- Two years of experience in administration, management, operations, budget, or similar analysis
- Relevant professional experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis
