Technologies/Skills Required - Top 3:
  1. UKG Pro Workforce Management Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of UKG Workforce Management suite, including timekeeping, scheduling, pay rules, and absence management.
  2. System Integration Experience: Experience integrating UKG with payroll, analytics, and other HR or business systems.
  3. Technical Troubleshooting Skills: Proficiency in troubleshooting time clocks, configurations, and resolving technical incidents.


Preferred but not required:

4. Data and Report Configuration: Ability to configure business structures, create data views, and generate reports to support productivity improvements.

5. Advanced Scheduling and Payroll Knowledge: Familiarity with advanced scheduling and UKG Payroll & Benefits configuration.

6. Documentation and Training: Experience writing technical documentation and training end-users in system functionalities.

7. ERP and SaaS Solutions Knowledge: Understanding of ERP and SaaS platforms, as well as IT dependencies in system implementations and integrations.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for UKG Pro Workforce Management.
  • Manage the UKG environment, including configuring pay, attendance, and leave rules, and coordinating integrations with payroll and analytics systems.
  • Configure and maintain business structures, data views, timekeeping, user access, basic scheduling, absence management, and accruals.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, including time clocks and configurations, ensuring effective resolution.
  • Create reports and data views to enhance business productivity and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with HR/Business teams to identify opportunities for system enhancements and implement new functionalities.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, ensuring it supports standards and procedures.
  • Provide end-user training and ongoing support to ensure smooth operation and adoption of the system.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between HR, Finance, Payroll, and Operational teams, as well as UKG support.
  • Participate in the strategic roadmap for global implementations, assessing future impacts and changes.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (equivalent work experience accepted).
  • 3+ years of experience with UKG Workforce Management solutions or related systems.
  • Strong knowledge of UKG features, including Labor Categories, Attendance/Leave Policies, Shift Premiums, and Assignment Profiles.
  • Proficiency in clock configurations, advanced scheduling concepts, and integration with other HRIS or business applications.
  • Experience with UKG Payroll & Benefits is a plus.
  • Understanding of ERP and SaaS platforms, system implementations, and IT dependencies.
  • Familiarity with HR policies and industry best practices to support system configurations and business needs.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and attention to detail skills.

Typical Day-to-Day
  • Manage and maintain the UKG Pro Workforce Management system, focusing on optimizing business processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical incidents and ensure system reliability.
  • Develop and deliver data views, reports, and analytics to support productivity improvements.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Payroll teams to enhance workforce management practices.
  • Support global implementation initiatives and act as a resource for system upgrades and new functionalities.

Position Details
  • Team Size/Dynamics: 7-person team; collaborating with HR teams in Milwaukee and Nashville.
  • Interview Process:
  • First round: Virtual technical interview, Second round: Virtual interview, and Third round: Onsite interview.
  • Background/Drug Requirements: Background check and drug screening required.

  • Years of Experience: Open to more junior candidates but ideally 3+ years of relevant experience.
