Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and drive IT strategies that align with business goals, optimizing the use of Salesforce licenses currently owned alongside other technology options with overlapping features.
Architectural Excellence: Develop and maintain a range of Salesforce architectural artifacts, including context diagrams and conceptual, logical, physical, and reference architectures.
Standards and Principles: Establish and promote architectural principles, guidelines, and technology standards across the organization, adhering to best practices for stability and scalability.
Future State Planning: Evaluate the current architectural landscape, define future state architectures, and create transition plans and roadmaps for the Salesforce ecosystem.
Vendor and Technology Selection: Lead or participate in selecting Salesforce Application Exchange vendors, enterprise vendors, technologies, and tools.
Innovation and Trends: Research industry trends and Salesforce best practices to recommend cutting-edge technologies and methods. Maintain knowledge through Salesforce 3x yearly releases, offering solutions and updates to the roadmap to keep all instances current.
Governance and Compliance: Define and participate in governance structures to ensure adherence to architectural principles and standards. Provide guidance and best practices as they specifically relate to Salesforce solutions.
Mentorship and Consultation: Provide guidance, support, and mentoring to enterprise architects, solution architects, and project teams.
Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the growth and maturity of enterprise architecture processes as the discipline evolves.
What We're Looking For:
Experience: Proven professional experience in Salesforce enterprise architecture is essential. Familiarity with insurance and financial systems is a plus. The ideal candidate has experienced multiple implementations or re-implementations of the core Salesforce Clouds in an architect role.
Technical Skills: Depth in one or more business, information, or application/technical architecture sub-disciplines. Broad knowledge across all disciplines.
Communication: Excellent skills in communication, presentation, and influencing. Ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Tools and Frameworks: Experience with enterprise architecture tools and frameworks. Knowledge of technical and security architecture, NET/C#, JavaScript, Lightning Web Components, Informatica, APEX, SOQL, VisualForce, and web services (SOAP, REST, XML, JSON). Extensive and demonstrative experience designing and implementing solutions involving Financial Services Cloud, Data Cloud, Sales & Service Clouds, and Marketing Cloud. Salesforce Integration Platforms, Salesforce Backup/Restore & Deployment Tools.
Leadership: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
Educational Background: A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Salesforce Certifications Preferred:
