We are seeking a skilled and committed Manufacturing Supervisor to lead our production team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership abilities and a dedication to quality, safety, and operational efficiency. The Manufacturing Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring production goals are met while maintaining high standards and compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff to maintain efficient workflow and meet production schedules.
Process Oversight: Monitor production processes and equipment performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Training and Development: Train, mentor, and assess team members to enhance their skills and productivity.
Safety Compliance: Promote a safety-first culture, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to optimize production efficiency and address operational challenges.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of production metrics, including output, quality issues, and employee performance.
Communication: Conduct regular team meetings to share goals, updates, and resolve any team concerns.
Experience and Qualifications
Experience: Previous experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment is required.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Leadership Skills: Ability to motivate and develop a diverse team, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills for engaging with team members across various levels.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with manufacturing software systems is preferred.
Preferred Background: Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
