Job Description:

Title: Senior Demand Planning Analyst

Type: Contract with potential to extend.

Location: Hybrid in Seattle, WA (3 days a week on-site)

Hourly/Contract Rate: $70 - $102/hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Craft and refine the 5-year strategic and 24-month Operational Demand Plan at brand, SKU, and account levels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to channel/category operational demand forecasts.
  • Ensure accurate forecasts through statistical methods and business drivers' analysis.
  • Drive forecast accuracy analysis, identifying risks and opportunities and providing solutions.
  • Assist in facilitating monthly consensus meetings with various teams.
  • Review and assess S&OP plan performance metrics against goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Mentor and train team members and cross-functional partners.
  • Enhance forecasting models and methodology based on historical sales trends and demand drivers.
  • Lead cross-functional research activities to refine forecast models.
  • Contribute to the development of demand planning best practices.
  • Participate in the Global Demand Planning Community.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Business, Supply Chain, another related discipline, or equivalent combination of experience.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in a planning-related field, including the use of demand planning systems leveraging statistical and collaborative forecasting methods.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in sell-in and sell-out unit forecasting.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in forecast bias, forecast accuracy metrics, and root cause analysis.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills with an aptitude for report-building, data mining, interpretation, and recommendations based on their own analysis.
  • Strong computer and quantitative skills, including BI, Tableau (or another Data Warehouse/Analytics System), Advanced MS Excel skills, and ERP system implementation experience.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and demonstrate strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
  • Displays strong initiative, has a curiosity for learning, and is willing to challenge the norm with an innovative mindset.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a resourceful professional style.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience working for a leading retail brand at the enterprise level.
