Our client located in Phoenix is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Helpdesk and IT Support Technician. The ideal candidate will have 1-2+ years of experience working in a help desk environment, and proficiency working with Windows OS, Apple OS, Apple iOS and Android OS devices. The right candidate will be a highly detail oriented and analytical individual who will accurately capture customer interactions and close out submitted IT trouble tickets in a timely manner. This role will be on-site, with one day working remotely per week, after completed training.
Responsibilities for Help Desk Technician
Manage and resolve IT Help Desk tickets in a timely manner
Provide technical assistance with routine needs such as general computer use, password resets, printing, use of Microsoft O365 Apps, file backups,etc.
Experience working with and troubleshooting Windows OS, Apple OS, Apple iOS and Android OS devices.
Remotely troubleshoot hardware or software for internal customers
Escalate issues as needed to appropriate department
Install, make changes and repair computer hardware and software as needed
update/add/close users accounts into Office 365 Administration Portal and Active directory.
Follow-up with customers to ensure issues are resolved
Desired Qualifications for Help Desk Technician
1-2+ years of experience working in an IT help desk or service desk environment
Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS configuration. As well as LAN and WAN concepts.
CompTia Tech+ Certification preferred
Detail oriented in order to keep detailed notes on tickets
Ability to diagnose and resolve basic computer technical issues
