A general contractor HQed in Chicago specializing in healthcare and federal construction with over $200M in annual revenue. They have grown from a small firm to a mid-size, industry leader in the healthcare and federal space over the course of the last 2-3 years. The Role
The QA/QC Manager will be directly responsible for ensuring building codes and standards are adhered to on these projects. This role will report directly into the Program Manager. Additional responsibilities include:
Develop a Quality Control plan ahead of project groundbreaking and continue to adhere to plan throughout construction
Communicating with the Superintendent daily on necessary changes to project, including: materials, scheduling, permits, local/state regulations, etc
Schedule look aheads and analyzing potential future issues before they happen
Speaking with the internal project management team to assess feasibility of changes
Perform jobsite walkthroughs routinely while reviewing QC plan and previously recommended changes
Travel is required for this role
Requirements
At least 5 years of construction experience
Bachelor's Degree preferred
USACE CQM-C certification preferred
Experience with healthcare or federal construction
Ability to travel
Compensation/Benefits
Salary range: $110,000 - $140,000 depending on experience
