Position Summary:

As a Maintenance Planning Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting data collection and management activities that contribute to business analysis and operational efficiency. This role involves both office-based data handling and occasional collaboration with field teams to ensure data accuracy and availability for organizational analysis. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a focus on detail, accountability, and teamwork.

Essential Job Duties:
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to meet data accuracy and availability needs.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Finance, Accounts Payable, Supply Chain) and vendors to support data collection and validation.
  • Lead meetings with field operations teams and validate data from field-submitted requests.
  • Prioritize and manage tasks across multiple workgroups.
  • Utilize and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) through reporting tools to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Education: Minimum High School diploma or G.E.D.

Experience:
  • Working knowledge of SAP and SQL.
  • Basic to intermediate skills in Excel and data analysis.
  • Preferred experience within the oil and gas industry.
  • Understanding of data reporting tools, such as Power BI, and familiarity with database technologies (Oracle, SQL Server, or SQL Server Management Studio).

Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and detail.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Effective collaboration skills for working with technical experts and core business stakeholders.
  • Willingness to assist in field data collection as needed.
