BEPC is looking for a Sr. Cloud Solutions Architect in Austin, TX to join our fast-growing team of consultants!
W2 Contract: 8 months with opportunities for extensions based on business needs and performance.
Pay Range: $70-75/hr. plus we offer Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance benefits!
Schedule: Remote position, MUST be local to Austin, TX, M-F 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Job Summary:
A Cloud Solutions Architect designs and implements scalable, secure, and robust cloud solutions on the AWS platform. Leveraging in-depth knowledge of cloud infrastructure, they analyze requirements, optimize performance, ensure compliance, and support cost-effective cloud architectures. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to guide system migrations, monitor services, and drive innovation by integrating emerging AWS services and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
12 years of Expertise in operating system such as Red Hat Linux and Windows.
10 years of experience in designing and deploying scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS.
10 years of experience in collaborating with the different technical and nontechnical teams to develop and implement robust cloud solutions.
10 years of experience in Selecting appropriate AWS services based on data, compute, database, or security requirements.
10 years of Hands-on experience designing distributed systems and applications on the AWS Cloud.
8 years of experience with Identifying and gathering requirements to define a solution to be built and operated on cloud infrastructure.
8 years of experience Assessing the existing infrastructure and recommend modifications as necessary.
8 years of experience Educating on architectural principles and best practices on various technical levels.
8 years of experience with Ensuring solutions and infrastructures align with TIERS' security standards.
8 years of experience with Leading technical and design discussions to help speed of new technologies and practices.
8 years of working knowledge of storage and backup solutions provided by AWS.
8 years of experience with ITIL - ticketing using Remedy and ServiceNow.
8 years of experience managing Archer GRC.
Preferred Requirements:
8 years of comprehensive knowledge of networking concepts such as IP addresses, DNS, TCP/IP, and among other standard networking protocols.
5 years of general knowledge of database software such are Oracle, MSSQL, Postgres etc.
5 years of knowledge of identity and access management as well as additional cybersecurity principles.
5 of keeping abreast of the newest cloud computing developments and work to improve the organization's cloud infrastructure.
5 years with an AWS Solutions Architect Certification.
