Job Description:





The Sales Operations, Sr. Analyst is responsible for supporting sales compensation efforts related to the validation process, calculation process for specialty plans, data analytics and reporting for incentive and labor costs, and ensuring data accuracy. This role will also have a 25% focus on broader sales reporting and analytics outside of compensation. They are sales-oriented and process-driven with keen attention to detail giving the ability to audit data and problem solve. This role will support the Professional Sales Organization (PSO) within Growth Strategies.



Responsibilities



  • Own the validation process for incentives which includes ensuring proper opportunity roles are utilized in Salesforce, monitoring deal registration when more than one seller is involved in a pursuit, reviewing sufficient activity is tracked to support level of involvement for incentive credit, and that new project tagging requests are supported by Salesforce data


  • Support the business with reporting and analytics related to sales performance, labor forecasting, and cost of sale - up to 25% of time may be spent on broader sales reporting and analytics that fall outside of compensation


  • Understand current incentive plans in place, ensure incentives are being calculated according to plan, and assist in preparing documents for new hires


  • Assist in calculating and validating monthly and quarterly incentives for non-standard plans and one-off calculations such as special incentive structures


  • Assist in the quota setting process by providing key data points, calculations, and quota recommendations


  • Support the fiscal year budgeting process in regards to labor, bonus, and incentives


  • Assist in compensation modeling related to new plans or role creation and incoming roles related to combination or internal transfer


  • Develop and/or document incentive processes related to validation, calculation, and reporting


  • Establish relationships with finance, PSO leadership, and key sales operations members


  • Collaborate on and drive process improvements





Qualifications & Requirements



  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in compensation, sales operations, finance, or comparative field


  • B.A. in Business or related field is highly desirable.


  • Strong business acumen, problem solving skills, and understanding of sales processes, systems, and data required


  • Ability to manage highly sensitive and confidential information


  • High level proficiency in excel including advanced formulas and functionality required


  • Understanding of accounting, forecasting, and compensation principles a plus


  • Excellent written and verbal skills


  • Attention to detail and accuracy


  • Experience with CRM systems in relation to opportunity management and activity tracking, Salesforce.com preferred


  • Ability to work independently




The compensation range for this role is $74,750 - $132,330. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
