Job Description
Lead a team of 15-30 reports, including group leaders, in serving our client within Process Sciences
Be a hands on leader and trainer in laboratory-Scale Cell Culture studies including characterization of cell banks and manufacturing processes
Develop team members through operational excellence and standardization of processes
Cultivate teamwork and build continued morale through engaging and hands on leadership.
Coordinate with a broader scientific team to align on lab activities and process.
Comply with all GxP standards, GHS policies, and current written procedures and protocols.
Statistically analyze and review large data sets and draft technical reports to support studies.
Perform project ownership responsibilities for lab-scale studies.
Present on technical topics during cross functional meetings.
Work in a fast-paced lab environment.
Balance multiple projects and tasks, prioritize and execute them independently, while communicating with all impacted parties.
Lead teams, schedules, and train employees in client environment
Organize technical resources and staff to accomplish client goals within given deadlines
Ensure adherence to highest quality and efficiency standards in laboratory operations
Ensure coverage and maximizes performance through management operating system to gain efficiencies
Stays current science and technology and consults knowledgeably with clients

Qualifications
The Ideal Candidate would possess:
Scientific background with hands onCell Banking or related
Strong dynamic leadership skills
Demonstrate strong client service skills, teamwork, project management and collaboration
Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in chemistry, pharmaceutical science,or other science related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experience
4+ years of Characterization and or cell banking work
4+ years of Leadership experience
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
