Summary:
The Sr. Project Manager will oversee and monitor a Genetic Testing Program pilot. This non-IT role involves collaborating with SMEs from Operations, Product, Data & Analytics, an external provider team, and our client's consultants. Responsibilities include building and documenting processes, managing the project, and providing written and verbal updates on program performance. The candidate may also support other Advocacy team projects as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage complex projects independently
Lead the Genetic Testing Program project:
Act as the primary liaison across all stakeholders
Manage the project plan and ensure stakeholder obligations and timelines are met
Collaborate with Operations and Data & Analytics teams to design and document pilot processes
Adjust pilot requirements and deploy updates as needed
Manage and report on program performance
Provide ongoing formal reporting and status updates to stakeholders
Support existing Advocacy capabilities:
Conduct SME interviews and analyze processes for improvement
Document process updates and contribute to reporting and automation requirements
Provide project management support
Contribute to ad hoc projects supporting Advocacy team strategic initiatives
Maintain project documentation for succession planning and handoff
Required Skills/Attributes:
Bachelor's Degree
5+ years of experience in project, program measurement, or product management within a matrix organization
5+ years of experience in healthcare or health delivery systems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Preferred Skills/Attributes:
Experience with special healthcare needs populations
Experience with healthcare provider organizations
Familiarity with genetic medicine topics
Project management certification
