Your Role:



Under the direction of the Assembly Production Manager, the Assembly supervisor will lead, coach, train, and develop 35 - 50 employees, drive team safety, quality, engagement, and productivity metrics to achieve site goals. The Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day production of the manufacturing areas under current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) conditions. This includes planning and preparing for production, scheduling tasks, and assigning duties to operators to meet the production schedule, assess production records and meet release timelines to deliver quality product to the customers. Below is a list of the responsibilities:


• Sets the example of safety and compliance for their teams and demonstrate expertise and breadth of knowledge in executing processes across a variety of production activities.
• Monitor the manufacture of products composed of varied materials.
• Assign work to employees in keeping with schedules and by difficulty involved, and instruct, direct, and check their work on a continuing basis.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing problems and take corrective action.
• Discuss jobs with other supervisory, support personnel.
• Monitor department work activities.
• Analyze jobs to determine personnel availability and time completion.
• Interface with engineering, customer service, quality control, and other departments to obtain clear quality instructions, secure services, and information.
• Schedule in urgent jobs and comply with revisions.
• Maintain discipline and employee morale.
• Check timecard accuracy. Track and monitor time off and general vacation use.
• Assist employees in planning, setting up and inspecting work.
• Take immediate action to correct any unsafe practices observed and promote safe work practices.
• Discover causes and perform corrective actions when discrepancies occur
• Perform scheduled training for safety, job orientated tasks, standard operating procedures, and/or housekeeping procedures
• Attend all manufacturing meetings as scheduled.
• Conduct annual performance reviews for employees
• Must be able to provide feedback and coach employees on their performance and when necessary, develop performance improvement plans.
• Maintain office area and equipment in clean, safe, and orderly condition.
• Follow established company/department rules and regulations and maintain quality standard.
• Perform other related duties as directed or as responsibilities dictate.


Must be ok to work overnight on E shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday. 6pm-6am.



Who You Are:




Minimum Qualifications:



• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years in a leadership role OR 3+ years of manufacturing experience in roles of increasing responsibility.



Preferred Qualifications:



• Ability to calculate gross, tare, and net weights.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to teach and coach others.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel, as well as HR4You.
• Basic understanding of all technologies in the production floor (including Boxing, Kitting, Picking areas).
