Your Responsibilities:
As an accountant, you will manage various financial tasks to ensure the finance department runs smoothly. This includes processing accounts payables, preparing and posting journal entries, and handling monthly payroll. You will also be responsible for monthly reporting and reconciliation of sales and use taxes, reviewing travel expenses, and assisting with monthly and year-end accounting closing tasks. Additionally, you will support auditors by providing necessary account information and documents for annual audits, and assist with fixed assets and sales commissions as needed.
What You Need to Succeed:
To excel in this role, you need strong skills in Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint. A solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles is essential, along with good analytical skills. Being detail-oriented, accurate, and organized will help you manage tasks efficiently. The ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality is crucial. You should be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
