About the Job

As an Analyst within the BioPharma Business Operations & Analytics team, you will provide essential support in analytics, business operations, and customer experience functions. This role focuses on gathering and analyzing data, building reports and dashboards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and operational efficiency. It is an ideal opportunity for a detail-oriented, data-driven individual looking to grow in analytics and business operations within the biotech industry.

This Analyst role focuses on supporting activities and learning, making it a strong entry point into the analytics and business operations functions within BioPharma. This role is onsite with occasional travel as needed. Key Responsibilities

  • Data Collection & Reporting:
    • Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data to support pipeline and portfolio analytics, customer experience insights, and financial performance metrics.
    • Help maintain and update key dashboards and reports to ensure accurate, timely information for stakeholders.
  • Analytical Support:
    • Work closely with senior team members to develop and execute basic analytical methods that answer business questions.
    • Provide foundational data analysis and data visualization to support decision-making.
  • Customer Experience & Operational Improvement:
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to support initiatives that improve customer satisfaction and streamline operational workflows.
    • Assist in tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and identifying trends for growth and efficiency.
  • Collaboration with Teams:
    • Collaborate with data and customer-facing teams to ensure alignment on metrics and data integrity.
    • Contribute to projects that help optimize business systems, including CRM platforms like Salesforce.
  • Documentation & Process Optimization:
    • Support documentation of analytics processes and procedures to standardize best practices across the BioPharma Business Operations team.
    • Assist in identifying process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Business, Data Science, Statistics, or similar).
  • 1-2 years of experience in an analytical or business operations role, ideally in biotech, pharma, or healthcare.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, PowerBI).
  • Basic experience with data analysis and familiarity with SQL or similar analytical tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams, with a collaborative, solutions-focused approach.
  • Demonstrated interest in learning and growing within analytics and operations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of HIPAA and importance of privacy of patient data
