The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Vertical Lift Division has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Human Resources (HR) professional in Mesa, Arizona to join our team as the SeniorHuman Resources Business Partner - Team Lead.
Boeing Mesa is part of the BDS Vertical Lift Division, manufacturing the most advanced military rotorcraft in the world and is renowned for leading-edge solutions that deliver proven capabilities. With 60 years of expertise and a global fleet over 2,500 strong - comprising the AH-6 Little Bird, AH-64 Apache, V-22 Osprey and H-47 Chinook aircraft and in-development entrants, including the MH-139A Grey Wolf - Boeing advances missions ranging from precision attack and reconnaissance to medium and heavy lift operations. As a key member of the HR Team, this role will be responsible for coaching and mentoring teammates to ensure our people strategies align with our business goals and enabling a culture of engagement by providing highly visible and employee facing support to 5,000 team members and managers.
The successful candidate will lead, develop and motivate a team of Human Resources generalists and offer innovative solutions to meet business requirements. They will have great critical thinking skills, an innovative approach to solve problems, and a strong background in positive employee relations, labor relations and focus on engagement and culture.
Position Responsibilities:
Mentor and coach fellow HR team members to enhance their skills and career growth and foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment
Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives for focus on morale and retention
Promote a positive workplace culture through effective communication and a culture of open feedback where employees feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and suggestions
Collaborate with senior management to align HR strategies with organizational goals
Analyze workforce trends and develop strategies to address talent gaps
Identify training needs, coordinate development opportunities and promote a culture of continuous learning within the organization
Provide guidance to team and leaders to ensure HR policies and procedures are up-to-date and compliant with labor laws and communicated effectively to all employees
Utilize HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives and make data-driven decisions and preparing reports for management on HR activities and workforce trends
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Experience managing metrics to drive data driven solutions/decisions
Experience with written and verbal communication and presentations
Experience collaborating across organizational boundaries to deliver an integrated final product
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Excellent conflict resolution abilities
Knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws
Proficiency in HR software and data analysis tools
Experience thinking strategically and aligning HR initiatives with business goals
Typical Education & Experience: Typically 15 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Summary pay range: $128,350 - $173,650
