Description
TITLE: Admissions Counselor
CADC, LSW or LAC required.
POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of Leadership, the Admissions Counselor is responsible for the initial admission interview to include the collection and processing of all data regarding potential admission, the completion of all forms releases and referrals, and the orientation of all clients. The Admission Counselor will assemble the client chart, enter computer data schedule appointments accordingly, interacts with various referral sources and orients the client to the rules and regulations of the applicable program. In addition, the Admissions Counselor will also be responsible for maintain census requirements to the best of their ability.
This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and cooperation.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in related field required.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: CADC, LSW or LAC required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position requires repetitive motion, hearing, pushing, reaching, and reading, seeing, speaking, standing and walking a majority of the time.
