The Industrial Millwright is responsible for safely performing routine and preventative maintenance activities, troubleshooting, and repairing process problems, along with the installation of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Adher to all Graymont policies, principles, and procedures.
Ensure the accurate reporting and recording of all health and safety incidents, near misses, good catches, or hazards in a timely fashion using company procedures and systems.
Observe and give feedback and recognition to fellow employees, contractors, and visitors on safe or unsafe behaviors.
Participating in regular Health and Safety meetings.
Take all practical steps to always work safely and ensuring others do also.
Respond to MSHA requests for action in a timely manner. Awareness of environmental requirements at the site, and to adopt common sense environmental practices.
Act in accordance with operating procedures relating to minimizing environmental impacts
Take all reasonable precautions to prevent risks to the environment, advising management promptly of any risks, problems or accidents which might arise.
Ensure safety considerations are given top priority while planning and performing duties.
Recognize and adhere to all best practices for safety (lockout-tag out-try out, hot works, confined space entry, etc.).
Ability to work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary to perform maintenance around production schedule.
Mechanical repair and installation of process equipment, gear boxes, blowers, gate valves, double flap valves, screw conveyors, conveyor belts, crushers, screens, pumps, bucket elevators, coal mills, and fans.
Small mobile equipment repairs.
Maintain preventive maintenance and predictive maintenance procedures; greasing, oiling, changing filters, equipment inspections, etc.
Maintain PM records, open & close work orders.
Hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Welding, torching, grinding, and fabrication.
Trouble shoot equipment and root cause analysis.
Operate mobile equipment, skid steer, forklift, high lift, scissors lift, pay loader, and other equipment as necessary
QUALIFICATIONS:
Journeyman Millwright Certification, or a minimum of 5 years of experience and education in the maintenance field preferred
Strong analytical skills, problem solving and decision-making ability.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work rotating shifts as required.
Experience with welding and fabrication is essential, along with the ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
Capable of lifting 75lbs.
Frequent standing, stoop, kneel, crawl, climb ladders, stairs, and sitting.
Sense of teamwork and cooperation.
Positive attitude.
Must have problem solving skills that can be applied to mechanical systems.
