The University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing, one of 12 Schools in a highly ranked institution, is dedicated to the integration of interdisciplinary research, education, and practice.The Family and Community Health (FCH) Department in the School of Nursing seeks candidates for an associated faculty position on the non-tenure practice track. We invite individuals prepared at the doctoral level (PhD or DNP) to apply to the Associated faculty at the Practice Assistant Professor rank. Applicants must have a track-record and expertise in preparing Nursing students to engage in clinical rotations as part of their undergraduate or graduate education. Candidates must be eligible to be licensed as an advanced practice practitioner in Pennsylvania. Our Nurse Practitioner programs, consistently ranked among the top programs in the country by U.S. News & World Report, offer a holistic approach to primary care. The Practice Assistant Professor will have teaching responsibilities in both the undergraduate and graduate program. Interested parties must have experience in academic program leadership, curriculum development/evaluation, academic teaching using multiple modalities (didactic, online) and working with an interprofessional audience of providers. Strong analytical skills with the ability to assimilate numerous sources of complex information is required. Excellent writing skills are essential. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills needed. Eligibility to be registered as a nurse in the state of PA is required. Candidates must be eligible to be licensed as an advanced practice practitioner in Pennsylvania.
