Office Administrative Associate serves as Administrative Assistant to the Deputy Director, Division of Hematology to include managing office business functions and directing activities as well as
providing support to senior hematology researchers in the Pelotonia Institute of Immuno-Oncology (PIIO); works with Division Business Manager to manage and reconcile funds and physician discretionary accounts; ensures funds are used properly in adherence to university expenditure policies; acts as a mentor to division office associates; disseminates or conveys directives and information; researches, gathers, and summarizes information and data to aid administrators in decision-making and strategic planning; participates in developing and implementing administrative and operational policies and procedures; assists Division Administrator and Deputy Director in preparing business plans to support program growth; types and assists with grant applications, manuscripts, and report preparations including scanning objects and statistical reporting; works on special assignments and projects as directed; manages physician calendars; coordinates travel plans and reimbursements; plans and schedules meetings and conferences; types evaluations; tracks CME records; handles physician credentialing and reappointment materials for hospital, medical board, DEA and insurance companies.

Per Classified Civil Svc Specs or equivalent combination of education and experience

Required Qualifications
Per CCS Specifications, six months experience (600 hours training) using computers to generate a variety of materials ranging from basic to complex; six months experience (600 hours course work) in office practices and procedures; six months experience (600 hours course work) in customer service. Requires successful completion of a background check. Selected candidate may be asked to complete a re-employment physical including a drug screen.
