Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapy Assistant at Western Slope Health Center, you will work closely with our Physical Therapists to provide high-quality therapeutic care to our residents, helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans for residents.


• Conduct therapeutic exercises and activities under the direction of the Physical Therapist.


• Monitor and document residents' progress and report any changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.


• Educate residents and their families on exercises and activities to support their rehabilitation.


• Ensure the therapy area is clean, organized, and well-maintained.


• Collaborate with other healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of California.


• Previous experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting preferred.


• Strong understanding of therapeutic techniques and exercises.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Compassionate and patient-focused attitude.


• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
