What You'll Do



  • Align business strategy, processes, capabilities and structure within a program to achieve business objectives

  • Define solutions and workstream-level plans to achieve desired business outcomes

  • Elicit, analyze, and document the requirements of a project, program, or product and communicate them clearly to stakeholders, managing requirement changes as necessary to maximize the value of solutions being delivered within constraints

  • Assess and validate whether solutions will fulfill requirements and stated business benefits of initiatives and projects

  • Define and deliver functional quality assurance across all types of projects and technology stacks

  • Be the functional and subject matter authority for the solution being developed for the client.

  • Work with the Product Owner to define the product by identifying requirements and thinking critically about what will make it successful; write user stories that effectively communicate the Product Owner's requirements and that are easily consumed by software development teams.

Team members that play a Process Architect role will:


  • Lead workshops and interviews with cross-functional client stakeholders

  • Facilitate complex process mapping sessions to create shared visibility of current state operations, stage handoffs, and value, pain points, waste, and opportunities at each stage

  • Utilize value stream maps, gap analysis, and future state solutioning to support process design and optimization

  • Collaboratively prioritize process improvement initiatives and solutions based on client impact, considering key benefits, feasibility, effort, ROI, and client objectives

  • Partner with technology teams to define and implement business processes that utilize core technology functionality and minimize customization

  • Work closely with training and change teams to support go live and adoption of new processes and tools

  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in process improvement and business transformation


What You'll Bring:



  • 7-10+ years of work experience, preferably with a background in consulting

  • Ability to serve as a liaison between both business and technical teams to drive effective, timely solutions that fulfill both strategic and operational needs.

  • Adaptable self-starter who is skilled at creating structure in ambiguous environments.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with audiences of all levels.

  • Ability to actively identify risks, and drive action to mitigate and resolve issues.

  • A detail-oriented, logical, and analytical mindset and issue-based problem-solving skills

  • Big picture thinking and a passion for helping organizations solve their most critical, complex business challenges

  • Capability expertise in business analysis, technical analysis, business architecture, process design, quality assurance, data analysis, and solution and/or product ownership

  • Expertise in technology/system development methodologies

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to be onsite at the client or Slalom office 2-5 days per week
