Job Description:
The Nursing Graduate works under direct line-of-sight supervision of the Registered Nurse in the clinical setting and participates appropriately in the patient care delivery process. The incumbent also orients to the RN assignment, excluding independent nursing care. This position may participate in medication administration under the direction and supervision of the licensed RN.

This 12-month residency program,?starting, February 24, 2025, will include a combination of unit-based learning with a preceptor and classroom-based training and will help provide you with additional support as you begin your nursing career with us.?

Your day

As a New Graduate RN, you need to know how to:

  • Recognize and address patients' psychological and physical needs
  • Foster continuity and quality of care with the best interest and well-being of patients and their families in mind
  • Assess a patients' medical status upon admission
  • Assist in developing individualized treatment plans
  • Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines
  • Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs

Your experience

We hire people, not resumes. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:

  • ASN / ADN or BSN from an accredited program, required (if ASN / ADN, a BSN is required within four (4) years of your hire)
  • Current Colorado RN license, required (upon start of the program)
  • Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association, required

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Regular attendance to perform work on site during regularly scheduled business hours or scheduled shifts is required.
  • Ability to work nights and/or weekends is required for identified positions.
