The Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for leading talent acquisition, engagement, and retention efforts across Heritage Construction + Materials (HC+M) as part of an integrated Talent Management strategy.



Essential Functions



  • Partner with HR and business leadership to identify and execute recruitment and engagement strategies that align to our business strategies and enable business growth

  • Develop and implement workforce planning strategies to forecast staffing needs while activating new competency and skill models to inform and support future workforce recruitment, readiness, and development

  • Manage the HC+M Talent Acquisition as a Center of Excellence for HC+M, inclusive of setting vision and direction, bringing efforts in alignment with workforce planning insights, driving continuous improvement, and delivering business value in hiring efficiency and new hire effectiveness

  • Collaborate with HR teams on recruiting, selection, and onboarding capabilities that utilize new technology, support the ongoing development of our people managers, and enhance talent acquisition decision making and new hire experience

  • Collaborate with Marketing and Communication teams to ensure our Employer Value Proposition is clearly delivered and pursued internally and externally across the employee experience, beginning with prospective employees

  • Lead change efforts within and across multiple HC+M business units and stakeholder groups as a subject matter expert and trusted partner while contributing to shared Talent strategies across The Heritage Group family of companies

  • Compile and analyze recruitment, selection, engagement, and new hire outcome data to identify trends, areas for increased investment, and identify opportunities to drive impact in Talent Acquisition and Talent Management overall




Education Qualifications



  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred




Experience Qualifications



  • 8+ years of experience in talent acquisition, workforce planning, employee engagement, and/or talent management with both office and field-based employees

  • Record of results in achieving and/or managing the achievement of Talent Acquisition outcomes

  • Proven leadership and team management skills

  • Experience with system-enabled talent acquisition, onboarding, and engagement tools, including Workday, is a plus

  • Excellent communication, emotional intelligence, and interpersonal skills

  • Adept at working collaboratively and influencing stakeholders at all levels of a dynamic, matrixed organization

  • Robust understanding of talent acquisition and employee engagement metrics, including leading indicators of employee retention and success
