About the Opportunity
The ITS End User Services department has an immediate opening for an IT Technical Support Specialist Intermediate, reporting to the IT Technology Manager. This role is responsible for day-to-day operational support of PC hardware and software, network printers, physical and Wi-Fi network connectivity, and telecom connectivity. The IT Technical Support Specialist also supports audio visual equipment and integrated systems to provide meeting and events support and hands on support for building security equipment as needed.
What You Will Do:
Thorough working knowledge of LAN/WAN networking and TCP/IP internet connectivity concepts.
Thorough working knowledge of troubleshooting issues related to Operating Systems, MS 365 Office products, and other applications.
Provides timely responses to phone or email inquiries for service requests, ensures incident and/or service tickets are routed and updated correctly before closure.
Responds to connectivity and availability interruptions, provides support with IT Services during crisis, contingency, or outage.
Works with vendors and other support staff to resolve moderately complex technical issues.
Provides technical support for audio visual, telecom, network and security equipment including setup, configuration, and problem resolution.
Supports audio visual equipment and integrated systems for meetings and events.
Acute attention to detail Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with people at all levels of the organization.
Qualifications:
Technical school or equivalent training
A+ or equivalent certification is preferred
Experience working in a technical support role is preferred
Experience supporting building security equipment
Experience supporting Audio Visual for meeting and events

The hiring range is $67,700 – $93,060 annually.
Salary offered will be based on the job responsibilities and the individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience as defined in the job qualifications.

This position will have on-call responsibilities on a rotational basis
This position is required to perform after hours and weekend work in accordance with change windows
