Description: Our client is currently seeking a UX Researcher 4
We are seeking a proactive and passionate mixed methods researcher to contribute to the development of innovative, best-of-breed products. As part of the larger TV research team, we believe in continually improving our craft and making meaningful impact for our users. Responsibilities Plan and execute foundational and tactical research to uncover unmet user needs and refine product directions through usability studies, surveys, benchmark studies, and other research methods as required. Work with Designers, Product Managers, Engineers, and other UXRs to prioritize research opportunities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. Analyze data and effectively communicate recommendations to diverse audiences through written reports and presentations. Advocate for user needs and leverage storytelling to communicate research findings with strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills to the product team and leadership-level stakeholders Minimum Qualifications (MQs) Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Statistics, Psychology, Anthropology, related field, or equivalent practical experience. 4 years of experience in an applied research setting, or similar. Experience with research design utilizing various methods (e.g., usability studies, contextual inquiry, surveys, etc.). Preferred Qualifications (PQs) Master's or PhD degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Statistics, Psychology, Anthropology, or related field. Experience working directly with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above). Working with recruiting teams to source participants who are the right fit for research projects 2 years of experience conducting UX research on products, managing projects, and working in a large, matrixed organization. Experience with interactive TV or streaming product subscriptions a plus Familiarity with US professional sports (NFL, NBA, WNBA etc.) also a plus Skill/Experience/Education Mandatory Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Statistics, Psychology, Anthropology, related field, or equivalent practical experience. 4 years of experience in an applied research setting, or similar. Experience with research design utilizing various methods (e.g., usability studies, contextual inquiry, surveys, etc.). Desired Master's or PhD degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Statistics, Psychology, Anthropology, or related field. Experience working directly with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above).
