The Cornerstone Business Acceptance Testing Team is looking for a motivated team member to support changes in core system platforms while brainstorming new testing tools and strategies. This team works with a wide range of matrix partners, providing critical support and coordination to ensure success of the claims and enterprise objectives. The ideal candidate has strong technical and communication skills, takes initiative on new problems and develops creative solutions to meet the business need.

Key Areas of Responsibility


  • Testing changes in our production core system platform to ensure no downstream impact. While keeping efficiency and compliance at the forefront.

  • Understand the methodology and moving pieces in the Cornerstone project in order to efficiently test

  • Enhance testing tools and processes to streamline and build efficiencies

  • Determine appropriate test needs and find appropriate test cases and test data

  • Administer tests and communicate defects to design team to correct any defects found

  • Run results and reports via queries and other methods if needed

  • Review results to determine if code changes have had expected impact across the expected cases; understand what results are expected

  • Create and update clear documentation for testing team processes and timelines

  • Work within the established timeline with multiple releases per year

  • Provide recommendations for Go/ No Go release decisions

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; HS Diploma required
  • Minimum of 4+ years of Government healthcare experience preferred
  • Three or more years of experience in Testing and Quality Engineering

  • Experience with SQL preferred

  • Strong analytical skills and technical aptitude

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to be proactive and effect change, influence, persuade, and collaborate with audiences at various levels of experience and responsibility

  • Candidate should have strong claim processing understanding, and advanced knowledge of health care coding, fee schedules and reimbursement methodologies

  • Knowledgeable with high complexity, high volume transaction healthcare claim environment

  • Experience in Quality Engineering and/or Business Acceptance Testing

  • Ability to work with shifting priorities to meet project requirements; self-motivated

  • Attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Experience working with multiple groups, both internally and externally - clients, engineering and product management teams

  • Travel: less than 10%

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 95,200 - 158,600 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
