Fabrication Technician at Schneider Electric USA, Inc in Mount Juliet, Tennessee

Job Description:

Calling all skilled fabricators! Schneider Electric is on the lookout for dedicated individuals to join our dynamic Fabrication team at our new plant in Mount Juliet, TN . This role will train in our Smyrna, TN plant and transition to Mount Juliet in 2024-2025 . As part of the team, you'll be responsible for preparing, cutting, punching, and welding metal for our cutting-edge product line.

What will you do?

• Reading blueprints and manufacturing instructions


• Performing pem, tap, and radius operations


• Identifying and verifying parts


• Running turret or brake press according to set specifications


• Operating LVD and/or Cincinnati brakes at required rates


• Setting up and running Amada turrets at required rates


• Offering valuable product improvement suggestions


• Taking on additional tasks as directed by the supervisor

What qualifications will make you successful?

• Preferably one year of fabrication experience


• Ability to handle basic shop math and interpret blueprints


• Familiarity with World Class manufacturing principles is a plus


• Strong team player mindset with a focus on quality and safety
