Our client, a Global entertainment brand, is seeking a Media Production Coordinator to join their team for a two year contract! This role is the essential link between Show Productions and the internal Marketing, Publicity, and Sales creative teams. As the Media Production Coordinator, you will coordinate the receipt and distribution of show footage throughout the Production and Post-Production stages, requiring excellent communication, a solid understanding of the television Post-Production process, and strong follow-through skills. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting any issues with acquired media, organizing content distribution to creative vendors and agencies, and managing any content restrictions. This role also involves handling a high volume of content from multiple brands, balancing dozens of shows, requests, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Hybrid schedule, 4 days per week onsite in Burbank, CA
Rate: $35-40 per hour
Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong partnerships with content providers on behalf of the Marketing team.
Acquire show deliverables and handle ad hoc requests according to specifications.
Resolve file delivery and formatting issues as they arise.
Collaborate daily with Marketing Creatives to fulfill media requests and address shifting priorities.
Work with internal teams to acquire content for special projects, sizzles, Upfronts, and similar events.
Distribute source content to creative vendors, agencies, and partners.
Manage the media library, ensuring media security and overseeing media retention.
Coordinate the capture of live feed and off-air network recordings.
Provide necessary show documents to Marketing and external vendors.
Input and maintain metadata and delivery details in the internal Marketing database.
Track and communicate content restrictions with relevant teams.
Onboard and manage external users on media and content delivery platforms.
Acquire requested third-party footage for Marketing content needs.
Provide coverage when another Media Manager is out.
Basic Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in Marketing, Broadcast, Production, or Post-Production.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong skills in relationship building and customer service.
Ability to manage multiple projects with varying timelines effectively.
Proficiency in time management and effective relationship building.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Sheets, Excel, Teams, Notetaking, and Outlook.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with processing purchase orders (POs) and managing vendor payments.
Background in account management and finance.
Basic knowledge of rights management.
Familiarity with television content and a strong appreciation for the global entertainment brand.
