Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Purchasing Coordinator located in Armuchee, GA. The Purchasing Coordinator will be responsible for managing purchasing processes, creating purchase orders, coordinating procurement activities (from orders placement to delivery).
The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and organization, in order to effectively manage inventory and ensure timely delivery of materials.
Note: This position will start at the Decatur facility, migrating in a few months to Armuchee (Rome area) in Georgia.
Qualifications
Experience in purchasing processes, including creating and managing purchase orders
Strong analytical skills to evaluate supplier proposals and negotiate contracts
Knowledge of procurement practices and inventory management
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Working knowledge of QuickBooks
Additional skills and qualifications that would be beneficial for this role include:
Experience in the fabrication, manufacturing or tradeshow industry
Understanding of materials and their applications
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
