The Job Details are as follows:

The Director of Operations will play a pivotal role in establishing and managing the day-to-day operations of Synexis Consulting. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong operational skills who can effectively collaborate with various teams, including Business Development, Solutions and Services, and Delivery.

The Director of Operations will play a pivotal role in establishing and managing the day-to-day operations of Synexis Consulting. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong operational skills who can effectively collaborate with various teams, including Business Development, Solutions and Services, and Delivery.

Operational Excellence:


  • Oversee and optimize administrative functions such as recruiting onboarding, performance management, and training.

  • Manage internal organization and processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to support business growth and objectives.

Strategic Partnerships:


  • Serve as the primary liaison with OCLC departments (Legal, HR, Finance, and Marketing) to facilitate smooth collaboration and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

  • Collaborate with the Director of Business Development to support proposal development efforts, providing operational insights and expertise.

Change Management:

  • Provide guidance and support for change management initiatives, particularly those impacting clients.

Revenue Operations:


  • Work closely with the Managing Partner to oversee revenue operations, including billing and project profitability.

  • Manage internal budgets and financial planning.

Team Leadership:


  • Build and lead a high-performing operations team.

  • Provide mentorship and coaching to team members.

  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications and Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.

  • 10+ years of experience in the consulting industry, with a strong background in ERP.

  • Proven track record of leading and managing teams.

  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on process improvement.

  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical execution.

  • Experience in change management and project management.
