MyMycoLab is a mycotoxin test lab based in Land O' Lakes, FL, that specializes in detecting 14 different mycotoxins in blood serum. Mycotoxins, derived from Toxic mold spores, are microscopic poisons that can cause a range of physiological and neurological disorders. The lab aims to properly diagnose and treat mycotoxin poisoning to help patients suffering from chronic illnesses. MyMycoLab is dedicated to making a difference by identifying the root causes of chronic illnesses and providing effective solutions for patients.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Customer Service Specialist at MyMycoLab, LLC in Land O' Lakes, FL. The Customer Service Specialist will be responsible for providing exceptional customer support, ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining phone etiquette, and delivering top-notch customer service experiences on a daily basis.

Position Responsibilities

  • Customer Support, Customer Satisfaction, and Customer Service skills
  • Experience in delivering outstanding customer experiences
  • Proficiency in phone etiquette
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to empathize with customers and address their needs effectively
  • Prior experience in a customer service role preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
  • Trouble shoots shipping issues and patient complaints that arise and work to solve them.
  • Manage incoming calls and emails quickly and professionally.
  • Uphold customer confidentiality according to the state HIPAA laws at all times.
  • Resolve all customer needs with patience, accuracy, and efficiency, and escalate inquires to the right team member when needed.
  • Ensure that customers are satisfied with products or services.
  • Participate in all training and development initiatives to maintain or expand knowledge.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Effective time management, organizational skills, and excellent attention to detail.

2. Ability to explain/articulate complex information to customer in ways that are clear and concise.

3. Demonstrable PC skills and computer proficiency with MS Office Suite and the ability to do general technical troubleshooting and learn other software, as needed.

4. Ability to work with minimum supervision and in the support of team initiatives.

5. Ability to stay confident in high stress/high activity work environment.
