Our client, a well-established law firm with offices in New Orleans and Baton Rouge, is seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Transactional Document Specialist (Municipal Bonds) to join our team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative and professional environment, supporting attorneys with essential administrative and legal tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, proofread, and format legal documents with a focus on accuracy and clarity.
Maintain and organize legal files, both physical and electronic, ensuring timely access to case materials.
Assist in managing multiple projects and deadlines, prioritizing tasks efficiently.
Communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, and staff to ensure smooth workflow.
Perform general clerical duties, including typing, filing, and document preparation.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor's degree preferred).
Proficiency in Microsoft Word (experience with WordPerfect is a bonus).
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment.
Excellent communication skills, including spelling, grammar, and proofreading abilities.
A proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Preferred Experience
Background in legal, clerical, or administrative roles, with experience in a law firm or legal setting being highly desirable.
Exposure to document preparation, data management, or research tasks.

Work Schedule:
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, with occasional overtime as needed.
