Pay: starting at $17 an hour

About Us:

Idlewild is a creative clothing and accessory store specializing in thoughtfully curated styles for our community. As we expand to include a new concept store, we're seeking an organized and detail-oriented Inventory and Fulfillment Specialist to manage our growing inventory and online operations. This role is vital to ensuring a seamless shopping experience for both in-store and online clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive, check in, and organize new inventory, ensuring all items are accounted for and logged accurately.
  • Steam and prepare merchandise for display, maintaining Idlewild's high presentation standards.
  • Price products according to merchandising guidelines and ensure tags are accurate.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of stock levels across all channels (in-store and online).
  • Fulfill online orders with precision, ensuring items are packaged beautifully and shipped promptly.
  • Process customer returns and exchanges, updating inventory systems as needed.
  • Collaborate with the team to resolve inventory discrepancies and maintain a smooth inventory flow.
  • Ensure products are appropriately stocked and displayed.
  • Serve as an omnichannel associate by facilitating seamless integration between ecommerce and physical store inventory, including coordinating pick-up or shipping for client purchases.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in inventory management, ecommerce operations, or retail logistics required.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable using inventory systems, ecommerce platforms, and shipping software.
  • Team-oriented with excellent communication skills.
  • Physical ability to lift and organize stock (up to 50 lbs).
