Coordinates and oversees office activities and workflows to ensure efficient department operations. Performs administrative support tasks and makes decisions based on existing policies and procedures. May supervise lower-level support staff.
Essential Functions:
Acts as a liaison with departments, staff, students, and external organizations.
Administers and coordinates departmental activities, office services, and team workflows.
Develops and implements office procedures, schedules, and meetings.
Drafts and formats correspondence, responds to inquiries, and ensures adherence to department policies.
Monitors and manages budgetary and financial tasks.
Supports the Controller's office with administrative operations, special projects, and program functions.
Maintains office systems (e.g., copiers, computers, phones) and manages timely supply orders.
Manages travel requisitions.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong skills in PC applications like Word and Excel.
Effective teamwork, independent work capabilities, and time management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication, with strong composition and editing abilities.
Interpersonal skills to maintain effective working relationships.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of four (4) years of related experience, or eight (8) years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
