About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Architect with a strong background in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2B and B2C). This individual will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing our Salesforce Commerce solutions, driving successful e-commerce projects that align with our business goals. As a key member of our Salesforce team, you will work closely with stakeholders to deliver scalable and high-performing e-commerce solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of Salesforce B2B Commerce solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements
Provide expertise in Salesforce core products such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and B2B Commerce Cloud
Design and oversee integration of Salesforce with third-party platforms, including payment gateways, ERP systems, and inventory management tools
Develop scalable and reusable frameworks for handling product catalogs, pricing models, customer hierarchies, and contract management in a B2B environment
Collaborate with stakeholders to define the roadmap for Salesforce enhancements, focusing on commerce-specific capabilities such as custom catalogs, tiered pricing, and negotiated contracts
Mentor and guide development teams, ensuring best practices for Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce APIs
Drive adoption of Salesforce B2B Commerce features, including account hierarchies, custom catalogs, and dynamic pricing
Conduct performance and security assessments of existing Salesforce implementations, with a focus on Commerce Cloud scalability
Key Requirements
Technical Skills
Proven experience with Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud (Lightning or Classic)
Proficiency in Salesforce development, including Apex, Visualforce, LWC, SOQL, and Salesforce Flows
Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture principles, including multi-cloud integration
Hands-on experience with Salesforce integration patterns, including REST/SOAP APIs and middleware, such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or Informatica
Familiarity with product attribute setup, dependent picklists, and catalog management in Salesforce Commerce Cloud
Experience configuring commerce-specific features such as Product bundles and discounts, Subscription and renewal management, and Personalized buyer experiences
Professional Skills
Strong understanding of B2B sales processes, including lead-to-cash, quote-to-order, and contract negotiation workflows
Experience leading cross-functional teams and working in Agile environments
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Certification in Salesforce B2B Commerce Specialist or Salesforce Application/System Architect (preferred but not required)
Preferred Qualifications
7+ years of Salesforce experience, with at least 3 years working on B2B Commerce implementations
Deep understanding of commerce-specific business challenges such as pricing automation, global tax compliance, and multi-currency transactions
Familiarity with Einstein for Commerce or AI-driven product recommendations
