Job Description:
The Migration Data Analyst plays a key role in ensuring that Prospective and HEDIS® quality reporting requirements are met in compliance with NCQA, CMS, and state technical specifications during the CQDB/Cloud migration process. This role involves working closely with both internal and external stakeholders to resolve data issues and ensure the timely reporting of healthcare quality data.
This position requires the ability to work independently, a passion for quality, and a commitment to continuous improvement in the healthcare industry. The role allows for telecommuting, though work hours must align with Eastern or Central time zones.
Primary Responsibilities:
Ensure Prospective and HEDIS® quality reporting requirements are met in compliance with NCQA, CMS, and state specifications during the CQDB/Cloud migration process.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather detailed information on data requirements for reporting.
Conduct QA and analysis of large data sets used for reporting and review subsequent deliverables, ensuring quality.
Address inquiries regarding data results, completeness, quality, and troubleshoot anomalies in production processes.
Work with relational databases and write SQL queries on a daily basis.
Lead and inspire team members, motivating them to achieve high standards.
Work independently on most tasks, seeking guidance on complex issues.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
4+ years of HEDIS® or CMS Stars experience.
4+ years of experience in reading and writing medium to complex SQL queries.
Health care industry experience, especially in claims, member, or provider data.
Strong ability to manage multiple deliverables and prioritize tasks.
Experience leading functional or segment teams or projects.
Excellent communication, project management, problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Big Data environments.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Transact SQL.
