Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Project Manager leader passionate about managing high-impact projects, mentoring teams, and driving success from start to finish. They are a multifamily development company specializing in the supply of doors, cabinets and hardware. This person can sit in Phoenix or Seattle. Relocation assistance available to the right candidate.

Job Duties:
  • Oversee and manage high-stakes, high-volume multifamily door and millwork projects, with material supplies averaging $1 million monthly.
  • Supervise a team of 2-3 Project Managers, ensuring project success through effective leadership and communication.
  • Maintain and grow strong client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing concerns promptly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success and maintain high standards of quality.
  • Proactively solve problems in dynamic, high-pressure situations, ensuring projects stay on track.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of growth and continuous improvement.

Important Attributes:
  • Expert in large scale multifamily developments adhering to doors, hardware, frame and cabinet projects.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and development opportunities for team members, ensuring team growth and success.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for internal and external clients, maintaining proactive communication and addressing escalations effectively.
  • Possess strong knowledge of construction plans, specifications, and project management tools, with the ability to anticipate and resolve project challenges.
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, and profitability, providing accurate reporting to support executive decision-making and company goals.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Extensive experience in multifamily construction, specifically in door and millwork projects.
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale projects with complex scopes.
  • Familiarity with Washington and Arizona markets, especially in the door and hardware sectors.
  • Previous experience with companies known for excellence in door and millwork solutions is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with experience guiding and mentoring senior-level project managers.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction and conflict resolution.
