Responsibilities:
Drives assigned projects (vs managing) with high energy and tenacity - often pulling SMEs and stakeholders along.
Developing project documentation, communications and stakeholder plan development and execution.
Providing project and deliverable status updates, financial analysis, risk and issue tracking, analysis and problem resolution.
Perform Project Manager responsibilities as assigned during all project phases (initiation, planning, execution, control and close).
Directly interface with business users and stakeholders to gather business and functional requirements for systems and solutions to be implemented.
Connect people to work and track diligently - with extensive communication and follow-up across project SMEs and stakeholders.
Ability to interact and facilitate meetings with internal IT solutions teams (Cyber, Service, Architecture) core solution teams, vendors and other third-party stakeholders throughout the duration of projects.
Deliver minimum required SDLC documentation IT system implementation projects including developing user and functional requirements; technical and functional business process flows, use case, test case and test script documents. Perform functionality, usability and testing during required project phases.
Diligently and with cadence of purpose. Provide routine updates (weekly reports, meeting minutes, bi-monthly/monthly project quad status).
Consistently update Smartsheet master project and capacity plans to PMO.
Manage multiple tasks across multiple owners while constantly updating management and stakeholders weekly.
Will go above normal or temporarily step out of "Project Manager" role to ensure work tasks get completed with the right scope, analysis, and timing.
Escalate issues quickly to appropriate business system owner and/or IT Director/Resource Manager.
Holds vendor/implementation partners accountable and partners closely with Business leaders/SMEs to ensure implementation partners stay on track.
Identifies key artifacts and documents required to maintain a finished solution in compliant and supportable lifecycle model.
Leads the transition of the solution to internal IT service teams.
Required Skillset Qualifications:
Proficient in English, must be US persons as defined by US Department of State.
Min 5+ years as an IT Project Manager, 10 years in IT.
PMP certification not required, but preferred.
Implementing SaaS application working with third party implementation partners.
Background in finance or IT systems used in financial business area.
PowerPoint and project status reporting must be superior.
Strong experience with WBS/Project task elucidation and iterative refinement of scope, tasks, and estimations.
Experience and/or certifications in SDLC and other IT project management methodologies.
Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices, Computer system validation regulations, CFR 21 Part 11 regulations, and Good Documentation Practices.
Must have demonstrated capability in completing projects according to prescribed timelines and other requirements in previous project management or business analyst roles.
Solid work ethic with a positive attitude; excellent listener, with good verbal and communication skills.
Excellent self-management, time management, and problem-solving skills; must be able to multi-task/multi-project.
Be able to function in multi-disciplinary teams, must possess excellent documentation, presentation, training and computer skills.
Capable of travel 1-2 weeks per month to our California facility during late-stage project deployment.
