MATRIX is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Scheduler II to join our project management team. As a Scheduler II, you will play a vital role in project planning, scheduling, and coordination.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of project lifecycles, scheduling methodologies, and possess the ability to collaborate effectively with project managers and cross-functional teams.
The position offers a hybrid work schedule, with travel to Wisconsin once a month or as needed.

Responsibilities:
Project Scheduling:
Collaborate with project managers to develop and maintain project schedules using scheduling tools.
Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Task Sequencing and Dependencies:
Work on task sequencing and dependencies to create logical and realistic project schedules.
Identify and document dependencies between tasks.
Resource Allocation Support:
Support resource managers in allocating resources to tasks and projects.
Monitor resource utilization and provide inputs for optimization.
Baseline Development:
Assist in the development and maintenance of project baselines.
Contribute to change control processes to manage adjustments to the project schedule.
Performance Monitoring:
Monitor project schedule performance against baselines.
Assist in generating reports on schedule variance and contribute to recommendations for improvement.
Stakeholder Communication:
Assist in communicating schedule information to project teams and stakeholders.
Participate in schedule-related discussions and meetings.
Risk Identification and Mitigation:
Support the identification of schedule-related risks and contribute to mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with project teams to address and resolve scheduling challenges.
Quality Assurance:
Implement best practices for schedule development and maintenance.
Contribute to periodic audits to ensure schedule quality and accuracy.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field. Work experience in place of formal education will be considered.
Entry-level to mid-level experience in project scheduling or related roles.
Familiarity with scheduling methodologies and project lifecycles.
Experience Level:
Level 2 (Entry-level to mid-level experience)
