SUMMARY:
This role has oversight and project management accountability of equipment upgrade projects, service, and new equipment installation in the Commercial / Industrial heat pump and boiler industry in the NYC, Metro, and/or Long Island areas.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Build and develop client relationships through knowledge and support
Manage project budgets and change orders
Provide product expertise to customers and clients as well as general customer support
Read and understand contract drawings and specifications, as well as project contracts
Read and understand electrical and mechanical system drawings and diagrams
Oversee company service personnel to provide direction and support
Investigate and resolve customer problems with supplied equipment and deliveries
Work with equipment manufacturer(s) to resolve issues such as warranty, missing parts, or general design flaws.
Perform site inspections for proper equipment installation and service readiness
Approx. 40 - 75% travel to jobsites as required
Develop project documents such as customer training agendas and manuals
Interface with various departments within the company to include Sales, Service, and Accounting.
QUALIFICATIONS:
3-5 years of experience in any Mechanical, Electrical, Sales, or Project Management
Must be able to read and interpret a wiring diagram and mechanical drawing(s)
Knowledge of building construction management a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects
Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds
OSHA 30 is required; training is available to those in need
Valid Driver's license and Personal car or transportation required. All work-related travel to be compensated for based on milage travelled
