POSITION PURPOSE
The primary role of the Product Manager, Upstream Marketing is to drive business growth within the Environment of Care (EoC) portfolio through the introduction of innovative product and service solutions. The individual will develop a deep understanding of the infection prevention market, PDI's product portfolio and represent the voice of customer in the product development process. This position works cross-functionally to execute on a product portfolio strategy that introduces disruptive and differentiated technologies that address unmet customer needs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
Build a comprehensive knowledge base of customer insights, competitor analysis, and market dynamics within the Environment of Care sector.
Support the development and execution of a product portfolio strategy-determining right portfolio mix of products/ solutions and across core, adjacent, and transformational innovation opportunities.
Develop business cases for new product introduction based on market research and customer insights
Represent marketing and voice of customer in the Product development process, defining product requirements and working collaboratively with product development team to drive product through product development process from project initiation to launch

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent required. MBA preferred
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
Proven experience in product management and marketing in healthcare industry, including regulatory requirements, industry trends, and customer needs.
Strong understanding of the end-to-end product development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and launch.
In-depth knowledge of market research methodologies, competitor analysis, and the ability to interpret and leverage data to drive strategic decisions.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
2-3 years or more product management and marketing experience in healthcare; Upstream marketing experience preferred
Collaboration in cross-functional product development projects
Developing business cases to support a new product or initiative
Driving product development project through from conception to launch

SALARY RANGE
$110,000 - $125,000 annually, plus bonus
