A leader in the Luxury Home Appliances space is seeking a Global Strategic Sourcing Manager with expertise in full lifecycle contract management, pricing strategies, and relevant commodity experience (metals, glass, mechanical components, and/or finished goods). Global Sourcing Manager - Key Responsibilities:
Lead the strategic sourcing team to develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with organizational goals.
Scope and manage cost-reduction projects, including assessing resources, savings potential, risks, and implementation plans.
Oversee project management, guiding cross-functional teams through the execution of global sourcing strategies.
Negotiate, draft, and manage contracts with suppliers to ensure favorable terms, compliance, and risk mitigation.
Ensure contracts align with company policies and regulatory requirements, while driving cost savings and value creation.
Develop and maintain long-term supplier agreements, including performance metrics, renewal terms, and risk-sharing mechanisms.
Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address contract-related issues and ensure appropriate legal language.
Implement effective contract tracking and management systems to monitor compliance and key contract milestones.
Deliver formal presentations and communicate project progress and results to senior leadership.
Develop and maintain supply chain policies, ensuring adherence to ethical standards and internal controls.
Implement supply tracking mechanisms and cost metrics for proactive supply chain management.
Identify and mitigate risks within sourcing projects to minimize exposure and ensure success.
Drive the execution of global sourcing initiatives and manage supplier relationships to enhance value creation
Procurement Manager - Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, SCM, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Minimum 7+ years of experience in sourcing and supply chain management, particularly with direct materials such as metals, hardware, fasteners, or glass.
Proven track record in leading cost-reduction projects and managing complex supply chain initiatives.
Experience in global sourcing, pricing strategies, supplier evaluation, and scenario analysis.
Strong contract negotiation, drafting, and management skills, with knowledge of contract laws and terminology.
Experience in contract management, including the development of long-term supplier agreements and compliance monitoring.
Six Sigma or LEAN manufacturing experience is a plus.
Proven track record in leading cost-reduction projects and managing complex supply chain initiatives.
Strong proficiency in MRP/ERP systems and sourcing tools, with advanced analytical and financial modeling skills.
