Director of Analytics New York, NY GreenCard/Citizenship Required Full-time, On-site (4 days a week)

They are seeking a talented and strategic Director of Analytics to join their dynamic team and lead analytics initiatives across marketing and business operations.
Position Overview: As the Director of Analytics, you will lead and manage a growing team of data analysts while developing and executing data-driven marketing strategies that align with the company's goals. You will be responsible for implementing advanced marketing analytics methodologies and helping to guide the company's approach to data-driven decision-making. This role is ideal for an experienced leader with a deep understanding of marketing analytics, media performance metrics, and the ability to work cross-functionally to optimize campaigns and strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead a team of analysts, providing guidance, mentorship, and career development opportunities.
Develop and implement marketing analytics strategies, including but not limited to customer segmentation, campaign performance analysis, and ROI modeling.
Utilize Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA) techniques to measure and improve marketing efforts across channels.
Build and manage reporting dashboards for various stakeholders, providing clear and actionable insights on marketing performance.
Conduct advanced data analysis using Python and SQL to extract meaningful insights and improve business outcomes.
Collaborate with marketing, product, and engineering teams to ensure alignment on data and performance goals.
Oversee the integration of Google Analytics and other tracking platforms to monitor digital marketing initiatives and provide accurate attribution models.
Drive the evolution of data strategies to ensure best practices in data collection, analysis, and reporting across the organization.
Stay current with trends in the media, analytics, and marketing landscape to continuously improve strategies and tools.
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in analytics, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Proven experience leading a team of direct reports and managing multiple stakeholders.
Strong background in marketing analytics, with a focus on media, digital campaigns, and ROI optimization.
Hands-on experience with Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA) frameworks and methodologies.
Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Experience working with Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of marketing KPIs, performance metrics, and data-driven decision-making.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud-based data infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP).
Familiarity with predictive modeling and machine learning techniques for analytics.
Background in the media or entertainment industry, with experience in performance marketing and digital content.
Advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
