Description: The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for accurate entry of all inventory transactions in MAS 500. The detail-oriented candidate will interact with internal partners including the warehouse, purchasing, sales, and customer service to understand the product structure, GL structure and impact of transactions on the business financials and record keeping.
Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree in Business OR equivalent (e.g. Supply Chain Management) • 2+ years of experience in production inventory and production planning in a manufacturing environment • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision • Strong communication skills • Excellent ability to multi-task and prioritize • Strong written and oral communication skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office Software applications such as Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word • APICS CPIM and/or CPM certification
Reason for Position: Our client has recently moved inventories, which has put an additional 70+ hours or work onto existing staff. This demand of resources was initially expected to be temporary during transition, however, now it is evident that this workload will continue indefinitely to support the systemic operational solution to support business. The time allocated to these tasks is causing delays in providing a satisfactory service level to their customers. This additional workload requires a person with a background in Inventory Control and Production planning in a manufacturing environment and there are no current employees with these qualifications available to reassign to the department.
