A New Jersey-based pharmaceutical organization is currently seeking a new Sourcing Analyst III for a promising opportunity with their growing staff. In this role, the Sourcing Analyst III will be responsible for supporting the procurement and strategic sourcing projects of the organization, including analyzing data related to supplier performance, cost, and market trends.
Responsibilities:
Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, market trends, and pricing benchmarks
Support supplier selection, performance evaluations, and relationship management
Assist in the development and implementation of sourcing strategies that align with business objectives
Identify cost-saving opportunities through negotiations, alternative sourcing options, and process improvements
Assist in negotiating contracts with suppliers, including terms, pricing, and service levels
Ensure all sourcing activities are in compliance with company policies and legal regulations
Prepare reports on supplier performance, market trends, and sourcing activities for management
Work closely with cross-functional teams including supply chain, finance, operations, and legal to ensure alignment of sourcing strategies
Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or related field.
5+ years of experience in Indirect Sourcing, Procurement, or Supply Chain Project Management roles
Knowledge of Procurement processes, Contract Management, and Supplier Negotiations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Proficiency in Sourcing tools and technologies
Desired Skills:
Certification in Procurement (e.g., CPSM, CIPS)
Experience with Strategic Sourcing or Category Management
Knowledge of Supply Chain sustainability practices
